view of lake off South Shore I love this place!  Lake Oswego is built around a beautiful, private lake where gorgeous, expensive homes line the shore.  There are 573 acres of parks and open spaces and a swim park.

Lake Oswego has changed so much over the many years I've lived here.  Downtown has become a great place to shop, eat, buy your weekly produce at the Farmer's Market, or listen to music.  Each year new sculptures arrive and a tour can be taken to view them and learn about the artist.  Weekends you will  find the trolley traveling north of the city to view beautiful homes and peaks of the Willamette River and Mt. Hood.

There are so many things to do in this small community - boating and swimming in the lake, rowing at the Charles S. Brown Water Sports Center, enjoying the sandy beach on the Willamette River from George Rogers Park, eating at the many restaurants in the quaint downtown area, enjoying a horse and carriage ride at Christmas time, or taking in a free concert or play in the park during the summer months.  The Lake Oswego library also offers many weekly events and music in the evening.  Golfers can enjoy a round of golf at the Lake Oswego Municipal Golf Course, and the indoor tennis center is open all year round.  Trees are abundant and the town is dog friendly with the farmers market offering free dog sitting services.

The most affluent suburb of Portland, Lake Oswego is a beautiful place to live.  Even though there are many high end homes here, there are affordable townhomes and condos as well.

I think you'll love Lake Oswego!  Learn more about this fascinating community.
